Our customers are our ambassadors. And it's lovely when they review us online at places like Trip Advisor - not only to help give us confidence in what we do and help tell our team "you done good", but also to encourage other to come along and try us our too, because as an "independent" we have no brand following from elsewhere - we're not an Ibis, a Ramada or a Best Western.
What a superb find in the middle of the small insignificant Wiltshire town of Melksham. Marketed as a small business hotel it's a fabulous little intimate retreat for couples. Very clean and comfortable with exceptionally friendly and polite staff, creating a lovely ambiance. This little place is well worth going out of your way if you are staying around Swindon Chippenham or Devizes. ... A big "thank you" to that reviewer on Trip Advisior - full reviews[here].
Our web site is at wellhousemanor.co.uk and you can link there direct to our booking engine.
We used to be ranked #1 in Melksham, but I notice we've slipped. Oops - but yet we've not slipped because of poor service; higher up the page on Trip Advisor, you'll find places with more reviews and places who have more rooms spend more on marketing. I suspect they generate far more traffic and income for Trip Advisor as a result, and I suppose that's only to be expected. Star rating wise - and that's our guest reviews against their expectations - we're still five out of five. And that's what's important for our customers!
