Survey - Journeys

Although our survey's main intent was to see how we had reached people, we added some "early use" questions to help us understand people's journeys - which ones had been "sold" and which not, if you like. However, we can't easily differentiate between high numbers due to good marketing and high numbers due to latent high demand.

Our survey reached 4 people who use the train for commuting, 20 for business travel, 61 for leisure travel, and 9 for other reasons which are
specialised shopping
going to different places
hospital trip to swindon
Swindon Town football matchesand shopping
Volunteer promotion of services
Ease of access to a city centre e.g.Bath
Never / None / Don't make any

In terms of journeys made, I note that commuters are probable going to make many more journeys per response than business and leisure users. However, leisure users are likely to be travelling in groups whereas commuters are often solo travellers.

At which station do you or would you most often start your journey?
Melksham 28
Chippenham 11
Trowbridge 10
Bradford-on-Avon 6
