An evening in Glasgow

I've just finished a giving a private Lua course in Glasgow and in that brief interval between the end of the course and total darkness descending, I've had a chance to look around and take a few pictures. At times, Glasgow can look as if it's still back in another age.

Chalk boards pint down to cellars where you would wonder what you'll find

And austere buildings tower high above (my hotel - and no lift up to the room!)

But under this surface you'll find the people of the city

And a wonderful hospitality and great food if you know where to go - on advise from my hosts, I went to Thr Butterfly and the Pig on Bath Street. A lovey bowl of Cullen Skink, and an Irish Stew because it was St. Patrick's Day.
