Coffee from the Portland Roasting Company - who supplied coffee for the Oscars - comes to Melksham, Wiltshire, for a limited period. Specially imported, we have Sorano Expresso, and Costa Rican and Papua New Guinean beans ... and a little Panama Geisha, precious, they tell me.
Washington State and Oregon, Seattle and Portland are renowned for their "Coffee Shop Culture", and our international connections have enabled us to source and import the beans and offer these specialist coffees - come in and see us sometime soon, and enjoy a fine cup of bean to cup coffee. We can offer it Americano, Capuchinno, Expresso or traditional White, together with pastries and cakes - in our Coffee chop / cafe. Sit at table, or relax in our lounge or library, bring in your laptop, browse the internet and check your email, or grab a cup to go. Coffee's just £1.50 for a large mug (and we don't do small, except of course expresso!).
We're open every afternoon with full menu. Teas, Coffees and a more limited selection available from early in the morning until the evening - breakfast starts at 7 a.m. during the week, and at 8 a.m. at the weekend, and we've got staff who will be happy to have you come in at any time up to 8 p.m. Plenty of free parking too.

Well House Manor also offers overnight accommodation - we style ourselves as "business accommodation", but we're also well suited for couples coming to events in Melksham and the surrounding area, or visiting family. All of our rooms are double / twin, but we will happily let them as singles. Prices include a continental breakfast, that lovely coffee, and more. We have an upfront price - we don't believe in adding lots of extras.
Melksham is a great base from which you can explore the countryside of Wiltshire, and the Southern Cotswolds. The village of Lacock, with Lacock Abbey and the Fox Talbot museum is just 4 miles away, Corsham is just six miles, and Bath just 12 miles. You don't even need to drive into Bath, as the bus stops right outside and takes you into the heart of the city - every day except Christmas. Then there's Bowood, Longleat, Avebury, Caen Hill, the Westbury White horse and much more.

And Well House Manor is the base for Well House Consultants' IT Training Courses. These are specialised courses - teaching you to program in Python or Ruby, Perl or Lua, PHP or Tcl. Delegates come from far and wide for our courses ... in fact that's why we're a hotel in the first place!
