Plenty to see and do - even in Winter - on a Well House Manor weekend

Even in January, there's plenty for weekend guests to Well House Manor in Melksham, Wiltshire to see and do. Lacock Abbey, Fox Talbot Museum, Corsham Court, Stourhead, Avebury Museum, Steam, Bath Pump Room and the Wiltshire Heritage Museum are all open, and there's plenty more in Bath, Swindon, Salisbury and the lovely countryside bwteen - the valley of the river Avon, the lower Cotswolds (Bradford-on-Avon, Castle Combe, Box, Lacock), the Marlborough Downs and Salisbury Plain.
In February, more opens up ... in March, yet more, and by Easter we're a regular summer tourist destination.
As a hotel which has marketed itself for business guests, we're often busy during the week (even in January, we've been full on some nights during three weeks), and that means that we can keep our prices down to sensible levels for weekend and leisure time guests - we're not trying to meet our costs over a limited high season, but rather want you to get best value all year. We appeared on the TV show "Four in a Bed" earlier this month and we've noticed that we're the only place so far in the current series to have been paid MORE than our asking price by any of our guests ...
To check on availability - or for a chat to see if Melksham and Well House Manor are the sort of place you would like to stay for a weekend away - call us on 01225 708225. Or visit our web site where you can book. We're not listed with booking agencies, as there's little point in us generating more enquiries than we can accommodate, and their fees mount up and would push prices upwards. You can read reviews on Tripadvisor and also see the comments made about us on Channel 4's "Four in a Bed" site, where you can at present see the 23 minute video of Well House Manor when we received operators / owners of other places, and you can watch them share their thoughts about what we have to offer.
