Melksham Bus Issues - to be raised at First Bus Customer Panel

This evening, I'm at the First Bus Customer Panel in Bath for its first meeting. Whilst I'm not the most frequent of bus service users, I do use a variety of them, I have looked into issues and asked questions before, and I do have community input.

Of particular Melksham interest that have been raised with me:

a) High prices; if multiple people travel, car is cheaper. How about "Groupsave"?
b) How about a Christmas Shopping Special price?
c) THANK YOU for intemeshing with Faresave to make 272 half hourly. Can this continue?
d) Can the 272 make a circular route around Melksham to serve new areas?
e) Evening gap in 234 to Chippenham regrattable
f) 234 ex Chippenham station - can the early evening be 6 minutes later?
g) Gap in buses Melksham to Bath from 17:29 to 19:29
h) Removal of the late Sunday buses Bath to Melksham and Devizes is causing problems
i) Could 234 be moved to also make it half hourly with the X34?
j) Could all 234s go to both train and bus station in Chippenham?
k) Would they run an experimental Sunday 234 service commercially?
l) Market Place bus shelter - entrance at wrong end for where the bus stops
m) Is First planning to sell off and / or close down Wiltshire operations?
n) Christmas to New Year timetables - reduction in route 272 to every 2 hours again like last year?

Other points not specifically raised:

o) Lack of fare information
p) Lack of "next bus" display at bus stops - even in Melksham Town Centre
q) Could 234 be shown in timetables from CPM station in morning / to stn in evening?
r) Reroute 272 through Bowerhill Commerce, esp possible commuter buses.
s) Marketing of buses / timetable leaflets. Also note route 235 for this?

Not on a First route, but to note:
Snowberry lane Doctors needs a bus shelter

Thanks for all the contributions ... any more input, please raise with me in next few hours. Please don't expect immediate responses to many of these but I WILL feed back.
