The Bowerhill Villager - a newsletter for Bowerhill, Melksham

The Bowerhill Villager is our local newsletter - it's published and printed monthly, and distributed to around 1,600 homes in Bowerhill and The Spa, Melksham. And it gets results! I know the team involved well (some very well), and I'll often hear how a holiday cottage that was advertised is now full all year, or that a lost cat has been found; it really gets read.

I was astonished to note that "The Villager" as we call it is now in its 29th year - "informing Bowerhill since 1983", and it's progressed leaps and bounds over the years - from an old roneo copier, the team has now moved on to a large double-sided printer with really high quality imaging; it's black and white to keep the cost to advertisers down, but it looks really good.

The May edition was printed this morning and has now gone our for distribution - it will start dropping though your letter box if you live on Bowerhill over the next few days. If you live elsewhere in Melksham (or elsewhere in the world!), then I'm afraid you won't get a printed copy - but you can have a look at this edition as an example. By special permission of the Bowerhill Villager team, hosted by the Melksham Chamber of Commerce - http://www.melkshamchamber.org.uk/bowerhill/villager/May12.pdf - this edition only ;-)

Contact details ... are in The Villager if you follow the link. And if you have a look, you'll learn one of my secret sources of information. Of course, it's only a secret from those of you who don't live on Bowerhill!
