• Most of the delegates come on our courses at about the right time - as they're learning into [ Perl / PHP / Python / Lua / Ruby / Tcl / C / C++ ] for the first time. That way, they can go away and make best use of what they've learned in a real life situation.

• Delegates never come on one of our courses too late - there are always things to learn, and self-taught programmers tend to find one way of solving a problem when there can be better alternatives. So these courses teach them a great deal extra, and that's especially so as our group sizes are small and our tutor will add in plenty of extras, asides and advice based on each delegate's background and feedback during the course.

• Alas - delegates occasionally come too early. For example, a delegate attends a course in order to learn for a work project, but then that project is postponed or cancelled. And the knowledge and enthusiasm gained isn't quite lost, but gets buried within a mountain of other skills and work. Then when the project comes alive again, the skills need to be refreshed.

Did you attend a course - whether it was one of ours or someone else's - but then find there was no opportunity to put the skills you learned into practise? And do you now need to pull those skills out from some dusty corner of you mind, give them a fresh lick of paint, and put them to real use in a new project / role? If so, please ask about a refresh and revision day.

From time to time, we have single day openings in our schedule between courses, and we can provide you with a very effective restart day. It'll be personalised to you - one on one - and your own tutor will tailor the day to give you a kick-start. You're encouraged to bring data and requirement details along with you too, so that the restart day will be maximally effective for your own needs. Arrive the evening before, meet the tutor, get a good night's sleep, and be prepared for an intensive and exhilirating day. Pricing is the same as for a one day course (£350.00 + VAT), with overnight accommodation at £60.00 + VAT - if you don't live in the Wessex area, we would suggest you stop for a second night so that you can make the very most of the day; you're welcome to work as long as you like on your day.
