Melksham has a heart! Today was Mel Scott's fundraiser at the Assembly Hall, and we were delighted to support her. She's raising money for a community Defibrillator for Melksham, to help save lives if people have heart attacks ...

One lady came up to me, and told me how her husband had a heart attack while driving near Melksham. Came off the road ... was alive when the emergency services reached him, but passed away soon thereafter. That very much brings home that heart attacks take lives, and how important campaigns like Mel's are.

A good chunk of money was raised today. More's needed. And we have some prints of our montage still for sale. Every Penny that you give us will go to the appeal. See the full size picture (A0 size - 1189 x 841 mm) on display at Well House Manor on Spa Road - open all day, every day, for teas and coffees. We're asking for a donation of £5.00 or more for the prints which are A3 (420 x 297 mm). And you can enjoy a coffee and light snack too.

You can see the picture on show above (big, isn't it?). To the right, you'll see one of the images- rather smaller than it appears on the real picture - this will change if you come back to this page each day ...
