Melksham has a heart! Earlier this month, I was taking pictures of people hugging each other in Melksham - to show Melksham has a heart, and to support Mel Scott's campaign for community defibrillators. The large montage is now in final checking ... it will be printed today, and it will be on show at the Assembly Hall from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Please come along, see ALL the stalls, give generously. If I took your picture, come and see how it came out. If I didn't happen to bump into you while I was on my photo-spree, come along and see lots of Melksham people - some of whom you're bound to recognise, and see who they're hugging.

A limited number of prints will be on sale. With ALL the proceeds from their sale going to the campaign. Every minute's delay in defibrillation reduces your chance of survival by 14%. Melksham has the 3rd worst rate of heart attacks of Wiltshire Towns. And speaking with people over the last 3 weeks has really proven than Melksham has a heart and wants the community defibrillator to help save lives.
