Emergency First Aid at Work (HSE) training in Melksham - places available for 19.1.2012

We are holding an Emergency First Aid at Work training day (Health & Safety Executive approved, delegates get a certificate good for 3 years on passing the day) at Well House Manor, Spa Road, Melksham on Thursday, 19th January 2012. The course has been organised for 3 of our own staff, who need to be aware (and up to date) on how to handle a medical emergency at the hotel and pass it on if necessary to medical professionals. It will be presented by an instructor recommended to me by the Wessex Association of Chambers of Commerce, although the event itself is not organised by the Chamber and not limited to Chamber members. In fact ...We would like to open the course up to 5 more delegates from other Melksham companies and organisations. It's a course I've taken in the past and found it very reassuring to have the knowledge of what to do in an emergency, and I would recommend that every office however small should have someone with this training (or deeper training) at all times.
Courses such as this don't run very often in the town, and are liable to cancellation if there aren't enough candidates. This one's different - it's already booked and paid for so it WILL run even if no-one extra joins us. But the offer is out there - if anyone would like a place, please call in and book one. First come, first served (and I'll come back and add an update to this post if and when we're full). We're charging £95.00 + VAT (£114.00) per place, payable at booking time. This includes tees, coffees, snacks but not lunch. We can take credit and debit cards. Free parking available, bus stops (routes 272, x72 and 14) right outside. Start time 09:30 .
