Actually, Melksham House has been very active as a community resources for many years as it's move away from being a strictly "Avon Tyres Only" place, but there are still many people who don't realise this. It's good value all day parking for the town centre too ...
Yes - there will be huge changes in years to come - the whole intent is to provide a new community campus in place of assortment of other facilities - but the project has to go through a whole series of strategy, design and planning stages during which the existing facilities remain very much open and vibrant. The purpose of the new campus is to provide a community hub / service ... and Melksham House is already a community / hub service when you think of it ;-)
