Havant - Shop Frontages.

Considering Town Centres ... and comparing ours in Melksham to others I visit ... I was a bit shocked at just how many units are unoccupied in Havant last night. A town four times "our size" but with a very large supply of spare shops and a lack of shopkeepers. Perhaps some of that's because people have moved into the Meridian Centre, Perhaps it's because of the huge Tesco Extra sandwiched between the town and the trunk, dual carriageway A27 (M27 extension in effect)

We have talked, and to some extent acted, to put things into empty shop fronts in Melksham ... and I through readers might like to see an example from elsewhere - what Havant Borough Council have done / sponsored on empty frontages. Some of these are rather good - look very carefully for all are flat.
