We had a fantastic day out in Weymouth yesterday - it's really GREAT than we can make this trip on Summer Sundays now, by train all the way from Chippenham or Melksham.
I was struck as we walked around as to what an active role the local council has taken in putting up signage telling you what you can't do ... can you work out what organisation is reponsible for which sign?
As a bonus, can you explain all the things that you may not do, and explain the reasons? Some I find quite baffling. If you're not allowed a dog on the beach, then why are you instructed to clean up after your dog on the beach? ...
But, great day had out by all as we climbed onto the train back to Melksham / Chippenham / Swindon. Looks a crowd, but that five car train left Weymouth with plenty room for more.
