I may be away ... but I understand that the "dress rehearsal" run of the Summer Sunday service is going well ... around 50 people on the Weymouth train from Swindon and Chippenham, with a further 25 or so joining at Melksham. That's a good number - considering that the train also picks up all the way through to Weymouth. Only one "blip" so far - the Weymouth train wasn't showing on the departure screens at Chippenham; quite a minor element. Looks like a lovely day in Melksham from the picture (My thanks to our MP, Duncan Hames, for forwarding this) - hope everyone has a great time in Weymouth. I look forward to joining you on the next trip - 17th July.

17th July and every Sunday until 28th August ... 07:30 Westbury to Swindon, calling at Trowbridge (07:36), Melksham (07:45), and Chippenham (07:55) - change at Swindon for London. 08:20 from Swindon, 08:35 from Chippenham, 08:45 from Melksham and 08:55 from Trownbridge to Westbury, Frome, Yeovil, Dorchester and Weymouth (10:42). Return from Weymouth at 17:56, through carriages to Swindon and at 17:00 from London for TransWilts connection.
