Twitter Phishing Trips ... and a great new alert service

A new service from Twitter - telling me when people mention me in their tweets. I like it - helps me keep engaged with efriends such as Alex, during very busy times. It's only something that I've seen in the last few days.

But at the same time, I've started to receive "message box full" messages that perport to be from Twitter. But they're not - they're phishing trips, and if you follow the links you're taken to a site that's nothing to do with Twitter but probably (I haven't tried it) asks for your login details...

I always "view source" before I click on links on emails that I question - and it's usually quite obvious from the URLs that come up which are phishing trips. A few - beware, dear reader, are clever, pointing to domains which have similar names to the site being mimiced.
