New Camera - very first picture, and next from first films

What was the very first picture you took with your camera?

Over the last few weeks, I've borrowed Lisa's camera on a couple of occasions, and found that I've been able to get more vibrant pictures with it than I can with my own. That the zoom has been more powerful than I've had (in fact the camera I've been using has been frustrating for wildlife work). And so - as picture that I take form so much of what I do - it's clearly time for me to trade up. I'm a bit of klutz and this new one's not ruggedised, so I'll need to be careful ... let's see how it goes.

First picture here - my very first picture with the camera. I've dropped the resolution for web publication; the original is 4k x 3k, but it's displayed on this page at just a tenth of that - so plenty of capacity for further cropping, straightening and zooming. Click on the image (and the following ones) to show it at twice the size in a new window.

We're up to picture number 65 - so in older days that would have been about the end of my second film, in about an hour. A request from an online contact for pictures of a particular building (not shown here!) gave me a chance to take the dog our for a walk in the car to a different place to usual - recognise the pictures (apart from Well House Manor) anyone.
