Gypsy and I took a walk from Semington to Staverton along the canal. Back via the River Avon and Whaddon. In both directions, she walked to the west of me - ahead and excited on the way out, getting a little tired and draggy on the way back. We I took plenty of pictures ... and many of them will be used on further posts. I started cropping to a standard landscape format then I came across an image that didn't fit that format, but fitted an extreme portrait ... so that's how I cropped it. And I cropped a few more that way. Click on any of the images, and it'll come up much bigger in another window!
The canal where we started our walk is just over a mile from Well House Manor. If you prefer to carry on to Trowbridge, there's buses back to Melksham every hour or so (Monday to Saturday only) and two late afternoon / early evening trains (Sundays).
