Melksham Campus - any last minute inputs from Melksham businesses?

Over the past few weeks, I've listened and learned about the plans for Melksham's Campus (as best I can, as there seem to be some important questions for which answers are not provided). I've attended a Community Area Partnership consultation, the Melksham Without Parish meeting, and the Chamber of Commerce meeting last week. And from that last, and talking with people, I've collected some business views and inputs - both positive and negative - from Chamber members and other businesses.

Over the next 36 hours, I'll be putting the "nubbs" of the Chambers inputs together into a short presentation. Everyone who was at the Chamber meeting has had their say, and we have a broadly agreed text, but if you're a business operator in or near Melksham and would like to let me know your thoughts, you're welcome to do so - whether or not your a member of the Chamber. Frankly, I doubt whether a couple of minutes of comments shortly before a vote is taken at the meeting on Tuesday will make any difference to the outcome - but stranger things have happened. And if you get in now with any comments, your inputs in the future will have much more weight than if you have something to say but don't say it. Remember that the sustainability report on the out of town Campus says that it will "effect the viabililiy of some town centre businesses". That means not just making life more difficult for them - it means having such a serious hit on them that they may have to close.
