Well House Manor - a home from home for the business and leisure guest in Melksham

I'm very proud of our team at Well House Manor, and probably don't say "Thank You" enough too them - nor let them know often enough that I notice that the little yet some important jobs that are slightly off the routine get done.
So why am I writing about staff, and showing you pictures of rooms? Because you - as a hotel guest at Well House Manor are looking for a total package - for facilities / rooms which you can get a good impression of from pictures, as well as from wellinformed, efficient, cheerful and caring staff which pictures won't reveal. But actually ... the pictures of the rooms, which I took this morning as I checked over the hotel for tonight's guests, do tell you something about the staff. I'm on duty for checkins today, and I had checking packs to make up. And I had to check in our deliveries of fresh fruit and of other perishable goods (yes, even at the weekend) ... but with the rooms, it was a quick glance, a couple of random things checked, and "yes, they're good". For the last couple of days, naming names, that's thanks to Sarah and Rachel.
Through the winter, Well House Manor has been open during the week for business guests, and as required at weekends for leisure guests. January through March is the quiet season for touring and visiting, with many of the local attractions such as Lacock Abbey and Longleat being partially closed early in the new year, and with shorter days and cooler temperatures which restrict enjoyment of the Kennet and Avon Canal, the river Avon, and our lovely countryside. But from now on, we'll be formally open right through until late autumn. And you'll meet Rachel and Sarah, Heather, Kim and myself from early morning until the evening, 7 days a week. Any of us can (and will be delighted) to help tell you what there is to see, how to get around, where to eat, to book a taxi for you, to prepare you a bean to cup coffee (though you're also welcome to help yourself).
Some guests prefer smaller hotels, and other like large establishments. Some guests like to drink in a public bar, and others prefer a quieter environment that doesn't offer such a facility. And while some guests bring their children, others specifically look for places to stay which are clear of young children. So it follows that no single place is going to suite everyone. Let me tell you a bit about us so that you can work out whether we're what you're looking for.
Well House Manor is a small hotel, situated a few hundred yards from Melksham town centre. We have plenty of free parking for guests, and gardens you can walk in. But as we're so close to the town, with a wide variety of eating places and takeaways, we don't have a bar or restaurant - you're welcome to bring food in, to eat in the breakfast room, and we'll even phone for delivery for you. That way, if you want to eat Italian, it's cooked by the Italians, and if you want to eat Chinese, it will be prepared by the Chinese. At least one of our Indian restaurants (rave reviews for the Refa) is actually run by folks from Bangladesh, etc.
All rooms are double or twin, with superking beds - but we're very happy to let them as singles. Most business visitors are on their own, but need space. And we provide that space - large desks, plenty of sockets, unlimited free use of our wired and wireless internet (we currently have a 50Mbit connection and are hoping to upgrade to the new 100Mbit service soon). All rooms are ensuite - shower and / or bath; one room features a double shower, another has a shower with a seat. And all rooms have minifridge, hairdryer, laptop safe, iron and ironing board, 27" TV with over 40 (freeview) channels, and hospitality tray. There would be space in most of the rooms to add an extra bed, but we don't do that; we're a quiet 'home from home' offering a touch of business class for our visitors - we welcome guests aged 14 and over.
