With Melksham Electric Substation just to the north of the town, you can see lots of electric lines and Pylons in around the area; here they are striding off in lines up the Avon Valley towards Chippenham, following the TransWilts Railway line.
Although most people would dislike the idea of a major electrical installation in their back yard, there's a certain beauty; this picture is taken from the public footpath that skirts the north of the site.
