A change to the Well House team - thank you and good luck, Chris

Family, friends and regular customers may know that Chris, who's worked for us for a number of years at Well House Manor, was away for a considerable period at the end of last year. Chris was admitted to hospital in August - paraphrasing Monopoly "Go directly to Hospital. Do not complete your shift. Do not stop to collect your personal belongings"; the outcome is that Chris has a long term / life time condition which means he will always need to be careful. Family and friends will know, and some regular customers may also be aware, that Chris's wife Delene also has very serious medical issues, and that in addition to his job with Well House, Chris has been a full time carer / care manager in helping her for quite some time. I'm not going to attempt to go into detail here - but I will point you towards Delene's Blog - it's [here] and will open in a separate window. And - adding the final piece to the jigsaw for customers and regular readers - Chris is my son, so Delene is my daughter-in-law and their daughter Aeryn, born in November last year, is my grandchild.
Chris has done a great deal for us at Well House Manor, but with changed circumstances it home, and his own health issues, he's been strongly advised to reduce his commitments. It's with regret, then, that I'm writing this announcement that Chris will be leaving our team in the very near future. I accepted (regrettably as an employer, understandingly that he's made the right decision as a son) his resignation on Friday. We're now passing over his immediate work to other members of the team. We will - of course - still be very much in touch with Chris and he'll be available for us to ask questions, but you'll only see him very very occasionally at Well House Manor in the future. Chris - many thanks for all you have done for Well House Consultants and good luck.
