Lunch for Melksham Businesses

On training courses at Well House Manor we provide lunches ... and when there's an external meeting running with us, we'll cater for that as well. We have a fully inspected "4 star" kitchen and can prepare / cook food - we're allowed to do anything short of running commercial deep fat fryers - but in practise we like to provide a variety for our delegates, especially for those who are with us for a whole week.

Melksham has a good number of prepared food outlets / "takeaways", and on Thursday we had deliveries from both the Baguette Bar in Melksham (01225 708008) and from the Refa Tandoori (01225 705680).

This is the display of six assorted baguettes provided by the baguette bar; we added a green salad, and a fruit salad, prepared ourselves from fresh produce delivered the same morning by G&S Fruit Supplies (detail)

And this is an example of the Refa's delivered lunch - now available to business (and other?) addresses throughout Melksham. I had the pleasure of trying this - really lovely, and a very welcome variation the menu. Perhaps I should point out that our plates are truly huge ...

Further variety is provided at lunchtime ... sometimes we'll collect prepared lunch ourselves from "The Fisheries" (01225 704195) or McDonald's (01225 703702), and on a fine day we'll often walk into town with our delegates - perhaps eating at Ku (01225 793388), the Cornerstone Coffee Shop, the Art Cafe, the Tavern, or Bud's. That's not to forget out-of-town trips to the Waney Edge Cafe on Semington Road (01225 702038) or to Subway.

Melksham has a variety of eating establishments far wider than I've listed above. As a business, we choose catering that we're proud to provide to our customers, that's supplied quickly and cheerfully when ordered, in an environment where the customers and we ourselves feel comfortable, and where we can work (including drinks and any other extras) within our budget without embarrassment. 6 delegates + the tutor on a 4 day course is a total 28 lunches in just a week, and it soon adds up!
