Q: C++ is under open source in your courses. is that right?
BTW I like your site. Need to learn C++ but too expensive for me. Thanks.
Question / comment via our "Ask the Tutor" page - but I suspect that the email address given doesn't reach the writer, and the question / comments are good "FAQ quality" ones.
A: Yes - we're predominantly open source; on C++ courses we use the g++ compiler
Sorry that our prices are too high for you ... we specialize in small groups - we limit to 8 delegates on a public course, so our daily rates have to be higher per day than classroom groups of 20 to 30 delegates. Mind you, it turns our that we're often LOWER in price than such commercial courses!
By having a small sized group, we can achieve a lot more for individual delegates in the same time, and we run far less risk of loosing delegates along the way. So our 2 day C to C++ conversion with 8 people would be the equivalent of a three day course if the group was twice that size. Once you see this , you'll see that we may actually end up being the lower cost, and more effective, option.
