Today is the "Glorious 12th" - and the start of the grousing season.Do I envy, or admire, people who breed pheasants just to shoot at them. Or go our on the moors, with beaters, to take a potshot at the grouse on the moors of Scotland? No, I don't and it's a world away from mine. But it is a day I remember - somehow springs to my mind - as it was the day of the year (30 years ago today) that I first got married. Glad to report that the wounds I felt (and, truth be known, probably caused) during the 17 years we were together have now mellowed and feel like a distant memory ...
But talking about Perl (30 years is a Pearl wedding!), we have two Perl Programming courses coming up in October - starting on 6th and again on 27th - and advanced Perl courses starting on 3rd Novermber (Perl for Larger Projects) and 13th November (Using Perl on the Web)
