Thanksgiving dinner

We sat our our dining table with friends and family who happen to be around (a small group as it's a midweek evening between 2 working days in the UK) and shared a turkey dinner with Richard and Maureen, Stephen Norman and Ian.
Thanksgiving is, traditionally, a time to consider how fortunate you are - and we are indeed very fortunate. I'm thankful for family, for health, for being able to spend my time doing things that I enjoy, for that time spent earning me a living, for having a roof over my head .... and this is beginning to sound rather like an "Oscar acceptance speech". Let's keep it short today - let's just say thankful for everything - even that which might appear negative since it's usually a strengthening experience.
